Case Race
A brand identity and a hand-built porch sign for a house in Oxford, Ohio where track meets tradition.
The brief
Case Race is a house on Homestead Ave in Oxford, Ohio, where track meets tradition. The name was already great. It just needed a mark to match. Studio Roo built the identity around the pun itself: a beer case sprinting off the line, a wordmark set in racing lanes, and a blue to red fade borrowed from the surface of a running track. House motto: collecting tabs since '24.
The identity ran everywhere it could. T-shirt designs for the residents, a watercolor portrait of the house itself, and the centerpiece: a layered sign, cut and painted in the full lockup, now bolted to the front porch post. Mascot, lanes, and fade carry through every piece, so a joke between roommates reads like a franchise.
