Amity Barn

A hand-drawn identity for a barn wedding and event venue.

The Amity Barn logo painted in white on weathered barn wood siding

The brief

Amity Barn is a wedding and event venue built around an old barn and the big tree standing beside it. The venue needed a mark that could carry that setting on its own, without leaning on photography. Studio Roo drew the answer by hand. The barn and its tree are rendered in fine etched linework, set over custom script lettering with enough flourish to feel at home on a wedding invitation.

The identity was made to live on real surfaces, not just screens. The same mark reads as a crisp print on cream stock, an impression pressed into kraft paper, a wide banner with the barn sketch ghosted behind the lettering, and paint on weathered siding. Old-fashioned on purpose, and legible at every size.
